Dr Roxana Akhmetova

Roxana Akhmetova completed her DPhil at the University of Oxford as a Pierre Elliot Trudeau Foundation Scholar and a SSHRC Doctoral Fellow. Her research is focused on the adoption of algorithmic and AI systems in immigration and border control. Roxana continues to conduct research on tech adoption in high-stakes, high-discretion government decision-making and lead research at Harvard and MIT on the governance of frontier AI.
